In early '99 I was
invited to go to Armenia with a technical assistance team from
the United States. Like many Americans, I wasn't even sure where
Armenia was, only that it was somewhere past Turkey, part of
the great confusion of countries left when the Soviet Union
fell apart.
Since that time I
have read several books and many articles on Armenia, and in
my short time in Armenia it was my great fortune to meet many
people and to be invited into both their professional and personal
lives. This website is a small attempt to honor them by paying
respect to their country. And finding a
name for this site was an education in itself.
